February was almost over and derailing ourselves from the train of daily routine was on top of our minds. Later that week, we got back on the road because this month we’re not letting this month end without soaking in salt water. Weekend Getaway in Baler, Aurora

Traffic volume piled up on major thoroughfares due to earlier down pour and I was rushing to make it to our 10PM call time at the Genesis Bus terminal in Kamias. Bus enroute for Baler leave at 1:00 AM but a friend advised us to be as early for large number of passengers anxioulsy await the first weekend bus.Among the anxious passengers were three adventure seekers on their way to kick start the year with a weekend getaway in Baler, Aurora. Driving In Marcos Highway

While cruising in Marcos Highway, I tried a slow shutter shot I learned from a friend back in college. Setting up my tripod at the back seat and using the camera’s built in timer made the trick. I have to stop every once in a while to frame my shot and adjust shutter speed to get different lengths of light streaks.

Mauban, Quezon: Low Tide In Cagbalete Island

Rocks and corals sitting under the purple sky sprung from the sea during the low tide in the afternoon. From afar, one can see the light in a factory somewhere in Mauban.

Changing tides reveal the rocks sculpted by the seas over time. The distant Mauban Power Plant illuminated by numerous lights seemed near.
