Motion, music, and movement blanket the busy White Beach of Boracay.  From end to end, White Beach Path is bustling with restaurants, food stalls, stores, shops, night caps and hotels – it is as busy as the streets of Makati on a working week. Good thing for those seeking a more laid back side of the island, there is Puka Beach. Read more…

December 27, 2011 3 comments

At the infancy of my wandering back in college, newbies like me had few less options when it comes to destinations. Confined with limited knowledge of destinations and traveling ideas, I was bound to nearby locations. Not far up north in a province called Zambales lies coastal destinations promising pristine beaches and offering a wide array of adventure awaiting the intrepid traveler. One of Zambales’ provinces is a paradise locals of Candelaria take pride of. I’ve been here once and was committed to revisiting the unspoiled island of called Potipot. Read more…

Before I begin this blog, I want to express my utmost gratitude to Biyaherong Barat’s avid readers for continuously visiting my tiny piece of space in the vast world wide web contributing to over 10,000 hits this blog received. It may not mean much but every hit meant a lot to me. Biyaherong Barat has been on hold for quite some time due to my ankle injury that required operation, therapy, and lots of rest. It doesn’t matter now because I’m back on my feet, kicking, and hungry for more adventure and brand new experiences. Pack your bags, and once again let’s hit the road head North East towards a province I fell in love since the first time I stepped foot on their town. Hello Baler, we’re back. Read more…

Even hours before, I day dream what I’m going to do Friday night, and the whole weekend. For a second, all I thought of is the beach, the sand and salt water. I can’t wait.

As soon as the clock struck twelve, I hastily head home to pack my bag and camera. As I sat on the backside of the FX shuttle bound home, my buddies and I were discussing possible destinations under the consideration of budget, weather, and transportation. And again, like all the travels that we had, it all boils down to the budget. And just like before, no one and nothing won’t stop us. Whenever, wherever, however. Hold tight because were hitting 180 on the highway to Morong, Bataan. Read more…

January 9, 2011 Leave a comment

Rocks and corals sitting under the purple sky sprung from the sea during the low tide in the afternoon. From afar, one can see the light in a factory somewhere in Mauban.

Changing tides reveal the rocks sculpted by the seas over time. The distant Mauban Power Plant illuminated by numerous lights seemed near.

For almost 20 years, I’ve been residing in Cainta, but was not really going around town much until I started researching interesting sights nearby. I stumbled upon a place about 5 minutes from Valley Golf, and I was amazed that such place exist not far from where I reside. Taytay is the neighboring town of Cainta, and there lies a waterfalls I never imagined it existed. Curiosity got me excited so I left the house before the sun goes up, but the rain starts pouring down, yet I still went on with my agenda. Read more…
