Fascinated by Philippine history and old architecture, lighthouses were my favorite age-old structures built by colonist in the country. Pagudpud = “Pagod na, upod pa (ang gulong sa layo ng biyahe)”. [Translates to: "Pagudpud = 'Tired, and worn out (the tires due to the long trip)', though it doesn't sound so funny when translated to other languages. Is it going to be funny in Mandarin, German, etc?]
