The Historical EDSA Shrine

Situated at the corner of Ortigas Avenue, and Epifanio De los Santos Avenue is the EDSA shrine where the historical peaceful revolt of the Filipinos against former President Marcos which ended in a bloodless battle. A statue of the Mother Mary reminds the Filipinos of the historical event that changed the lives of its citizens.

Ortigas Center, Pasig: All Wired Up For Simbang Gabi

Meralco Building in Ortigas Center displays a significant figure of a Christmas tradition in the Philippines. Made up from millions of strands and strips of wires, the spectacle portrays a Filipino family on their way to the nightly mass 9 days before Christmas, locally known as, “Simbang Gabi“.

Meralco’s Christmas Lights Display in Pasig City

Passers by of Ortigas Center were attracted by Ortigas Center’s annual Christmas display. Miniature houses wrapped in flicker lights added life to the display. The centerpiece of the display was a train ride enjoyed by kids, as well as adults.
