Biyahe Lokal’s Travel Package: Overnight Camping In Nagsasa Cove

March 21, 2012 2 comments

, yes including me, head towards the western coast for another “business trip” to Zambales. Today’s trip will take us to one that has become a favorite among me and my friends. But for this journey, we’re here to share and let another group experience why it become a chart-buster for us. Personally, I’ve been to the three popular coves of San Antonio and featured it here in Biyaherong Barat’s Biyaheng Zambales, but let me tell you, and show you why the Nagsasa Cove make a good beach destination. Crystal Beach Resort in San Narciso, Zambales

March 5, 2012 4 comments

Blogging about this feature took me a while before I actually started writing. Took me quite a while and does not know where to even begin with. I took a stroll down memory lane and browsed photos of previous visits in this resort, and, for some time years ago, we kept coming back.

Two weeks ago, after 4 long years, we made it back in this coastal town of Zambales, but this time, we’re here not feed our cravings for that salt water and beach vibes, rather on a mission letting others experience the fun and memorable moments we treasure before. These memorable moments pulled us back to were it all began. Let me tell you about this local weekend spot, then let me tell you about . Let’s go to Crystal Beach, San Narciso, Zambales. Read more…

Re-visiting Potipot Island Of Candelaria, Zambales

December 27, 2011 3 comments

At the infancy of my wandering back in college, newbies like me had few less options when it comes to destinations. Confined with limited knowledge of destinations and traveling ideas, I was bound to nearby locations. Not far up north in a province called Zambales lies coastal destinations promising pristine beaches and offering a wide array of adventure awaiting the intrepid traveler. One of Zambales’ provinces is a paradise locals of Candelaria take pride of. I’ve been here once and was committed to revisiting the unspoiled island of called Potipot. Read more…

Before I begin this blog, I want to express my utmost gratitude to Biyaherong Barat’s avid readers for continuously visiting my tiny piece of space in the vast world wide web contributing to over 10,000 hits this blog received. It may not mean much but every hit meant a lot to me. Biyaherong Barat has been on hold for quite some time due to my ankle injury that required operation, therapy, and lots of rest. It doesn’t matter now because I’m back on my feet, kicking, and hungry for more adventure and brand new experiences. Pack your bags, and once again let’s hit the road head North East towards a province I fell in love since the first time I stepped foot on their town. Hello Baler, we’re back. Read more…

The rainy season is on its heydays and definitely far from over but no idiots like us love the beach, sand, and salt water (no sun) on stormy days. We simply can’t wait for the sun to be up and smiling back on us. No more introductions needed. We’ve been here before and back. This is our third time on the island, the second under bad weather conditions, and my first time on the eastern side. This is Cagbalete Island. Read more…

san juan la union

February was almost over and derailing ourselves from the train of daily routine was on top of our minds. Later that week, we got back on the road because this month we’re not letting this month end without soaking in salt water. Everything was set, our bags were packed and we were on our way to the bus station. San Juan here we come.

On our ascent to Ditumabo Falls, we came across with this guy, probably in his early 20′s, carrying a huge log passing through uneven and rough terrain.

Mauban, Quezon: Low Tide In Cagbalete Island

January 9, 2011 Leave a comment

Rocks and corals sitting under the purple sky sprung from the sea during the low tide in the afternoon. From afar, one can see the light in a factory somewhere in Mauban.

Changing tides reveal the rocks sculpted by the seas over time. The distant Mauban Power Plant illuminated by numerous lights seemed near.
