Weekend Getaway in Baler, Aurora

Traffic volume piled up on major thoroughfares due to earlier down pour and I was rushing to make it to our 10PM call time at the Genesis Bus terminal in Kamias. Bus enroute for Baler leave at 1:00 AM but a friend advised us to be as early for large number of passengers anxioulsy await the first weekend bus.Among the anxious passengers were three adventure seekers on their way to kick start the year with a weekend getaway in Baler, Aurora. Baras, Catanduanes: Puraran’s Majestic Majestic’s Sunrise

Puraran’s waves rising 6 six feet above sea level is known as “The Majestics” in the local surfing scene. Situated facing the blue Pacific, the sunrise greets Catanduanes with a good morning.

Pagudpud = “Pagod na, upod pa (ang gulong sa layo ng biyahe)”. [Translates to: "Pagudpud = 'Tired, and worn out (the tires due to the long trip)', though it doesn't sound so funny when translated to other languages. Is it going to be funny in Mandarin, German, etc?]
